Built a custom Shopify storefront for a secure mobile messaging encryption gadget.

Entangle is working hard on delivering more secure messaging options. They have great potential and we teamed up to help their e-commerce store convey product value and technical specification. With all new technology, part of the challenge is educating the customer about the specifications. That was our goal.
We built a custom Shopify store that clearly educates on the necessity for secure mobile communication and the technology behind it. Copy was provided by our good friends at TrueSix.

Turns out that standard encryption, software, and hardware solutions are vulnerable. Even the bellowed iPhones and Androids. Companies and governments experience cyberattacks and data leaks annually. Entangle makes messaging more secure, and we helped them to covey this message to their customers.
Products that offer security enhancements go by the more is better formula. It’s better to over communicate than to not say enough. When dealing with new technology, educating the customer is key.

Optimized mobile experiences are important for all products, bet they play an even bigger part for products or services that are intended for mobile use. When creating Entangle’s Shopify store, we started with a mobile-first approach, meaning our design process started with mobile designs.
Get people reading
There’s a saying - “it’s not only important that you CAN read it, it’s more important that you WANT to read it.” When working with a lot of technical copy, we find it useful to pay extra attention to its architecture.

No matter how great the copy is, the human eye needs a break from time to time. Icons help structure text into more manageable chunks.
Not everything will matter to everyone. We chose to highlight the “features” and “techincal info” tabs, but not over share it with everyone. There’s plenty more information under the tab. Keeping the list short allows users to see following content. Letting them expand on them, reveals what they’re looking for.
